In September 2001 Fenella Cook and Stephen Dolman formed Avalon Enterprise UK Ltd. With their individual professional knowledge, they shared an idealistic dream and turned it into an innovative reality in which they firmly believed to be a real step forward in offering alternative opportunities to disabled adults wanting to live independently in society.
Avalon Enterprise is an agency responsible for running independence orientated care and support packages for adults with physical, learning and sensory disabilities, allowing them to live in their own homes. Avalon Enterprise also facilitates arranging and providing accommodation either directly through Avalon or through other landlords, this is achieved through tenancy agreements.
The agency seeks to provide a person centred approach to supporting adults with a variety of needs and disabilities to enhance and develop independent living skills in order to maximise the individual's potential to care for them-selves.
