About Avalon
A significant part of the work undertaken with the Service Users under the care of Avalon Enterprise is to carry out ongoing holistic assessment of short term and long term needs and goals. Working in partnership with the Service User, their families, other professionals, responsible authorities, as well as other appropriate agencies is an essential element to a successful care / support program. Through these partnerships our experienced team will endeavour to enhance each Service User's opportunities and life choices.
Service User’s are encouraged to participate in review meetings where they have the opportunity of representing their views from their perspective, and contributing towards decisions which affect their lives and their futures, there is also a variety of self assessment tools for service users to review and identify their own strengths and weaknesses which informs and guides the overall support plan.
Avalon Enterprise is committed to promoting regular internal, formal and informal review for each Service User’s care / support plan, with a formal annual review with the Service User in collaboration with the responsible authority, advocate and other relevant responsible agencies.
Placements with Avalon Enterprise have proven to be valuable in terms of promoting the independence of Service User’s who otherwise would receive support and care from residential services preventing the full expression of the skills our Service Users can develop.
